  My friend and I dined there for lunch, as it was easier for her to get there, as she has MS.
  
  We had catch of the day which was whiting with a garden salad. It was so fresh and delicious.
  
  The staff were so friendly and were there to help us when needed.
  
  I would definitely go back there.

  Absolutely sensational venue. Tremendous food, fantastic staff and service. This was without a doubt the best steak I have ever eaten! Can't recommend this place highly enough, if the weather is good book a table on the deck. Booking highly recommended.

  Party of four dining for lunch on a Saturday. So nice to find a venue that offers an eye fillet steak. (So tired of the scotch fillet so often on offer at eye fillet prices which I won't touch.) Looked a bit pricey at $42 but it's beem so long since I had a good eye fillet I opted for it as did two others in our party. Our fourth chose the Beef Curry which they said was good but nothing outstanding. Nevertheless they cleared their plate.
  However, those of us who chose the steak were not disappointed. They were probably the biggest fillet steaks I'd ever seen, beautifully cooked with root vegetables and roast potatoes also cooked to perfection.
  Staff were attentive without being obtrusive and our wine waiter was a delight with a lovely sense of humour who ensured we wanted for nothing without being pushy. Will definitely be back.

  We had a great experience at The Whalers.
  We we’re on a weekend away ( 4 mature couples) and had our Saturday night evening meal at the Whalers.
  We were immediately made welcome, the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
  Highly recommended for top notch meal with views of the bay.

  Just a short drive from victor harbour town and you arrive at this fantastic spot with great views while you enjoy some amazing coffee and brunch. Service was A+ and portions were ample. The bread for the bacon and eggs was crisp and tasty. Coffee was spot on. Will return soon!
